Driving Directions
From Dallas Area: HWY
278 to Cedar Town. Turn left onto HWY 27 and follow to HWY 100.
Turn to the right onto HWY 100 and follow through to HWY 411 in
Cave Spring. Turn Left onto HWY 411 and follow through Centre AL
into Leesburg, AL. Turn right onto HWY 68 in Leesburg, AL (NOT
HWY 68 TO CEDAR BLUFF) follow HWY 68 about 2 miles to County
road 36. Turn Left onto CR 36 and follow to CR 1 on your left.
Turn Left onto CR 1 follow to stop sign. At the stop sing turn
left onto Lay Springs Rd and follow to park on left. You can
expect about an hour and a half ride or so from Dallas to the
park.
Leesburg is the last chance for food
and gas before you get to the park. Good food and lodging can be
found in both Centre and Leesburg as well as shopping at the
local Wal-mart.
From Fort Payne:
Take Scenic RD E (89) through Dog Town to CR176 (Look out
mountain pkwy). Follow CR176 to HWY 68. Go straight across onto
Tabor Rd (CR3) follow to Blanton Rd on the left. Turn left onto
Blanton Rd and follow to Tabor cut off. Turn left onto Tabor cut
off and follow to Lay Springs Rd. Turn left on Lay Springs Rd
and the park is about a mile on the right.
From Birmingham: Take
Hwy 59 north to Gadsden to HWY 278. Follow HWY 278 toward
Gadsden to Noccalula RD. Turn left onto Noccalula Rd and follow
to Tabor RD. Turn right onto Tabor Rd and follow to Moon Rd.
Turn right on Moon road and follow to Lay Springs Rd. Turn left
onto Lay Springs Rd and follow to the park on the right.
From Rainbow City: Take
HWY 411N to Gadsden. Turn left onto HWY 278 (W. Meighan BLVD)
follow HWY 278 to N 12th street (Noccalula Rd). Turn
right on N 12th street and follow to Tabor Rd on
right. Turn Right on Tabor and Follow to Moon Rd. Turn right on
Moon road and follow to Lay Springs Rd on left. Turn left on Lay
Springs Rd and follow to the park.
